SeisQuest Data Management is a specialist Seismic Information Management company, based in Houston, Texas.

At SeisQuest, we recognize three logical phases within any seismic data management strategy:

Data preparation

The SeisQuest workflow is based upon sound data preparation techniques. Quality control of seismic datasets is paramount, and our workflow incorporates QC processes which address spatial, header and amplitude level quality and standardization. Data can then be loaded directly into interpretation systems, or integrated into our managed seismic workflow.

Map based spatial representation of data

E&P professionals need to have a complete picture of data availability. We provide the geoscientist with a spatial representation of available data. The data can reside in various industry standard databases or even on disk/tape.

Data archival and retrieval

We have experience with various archival tools and library systems, utilizing technology to access data in a secure and timely fashion. Online, near-line, and offline storage can be utilized as required by the customer. An important component of any seismic data management workflow is to address disaster recovery scenarios, which form a critical components of our archival and retrieval strategies.

Integration of the phases can be achieved through the integration with existing corporate databases, or the design of a new integrated database.
